Case ID : [REQ:M-29565180]Firstly I hope a Senior Manager reads this - As this will in effect cost EBOOKERS (the Expedia Group) the loss of a very large corporate account. This CASE is for my personal travel but based on your responses to date it will effect my organisation's corporate spend.In essence a three-leg flight. Fist leg cancelled by BA- no contact from airline or EBOOKERS - found out by my BA account - fortunately ahead of time. This though is understandable given COVID -but is poor customer service. Three emails and 3 hours of phone calls later over two weeks- Keep requesting a full refund - Which is a legal requirement under EU passenger rights. Note I am not seeking compensation - just a refund for all 4 tickets purchased - a considerable amount. Only responses have been stalling messages. I have sent my last email- again requesting a full refund - if I do not get a response (as is the usual case) within 7 days - I will be issuing a Letter Before Action and progressing further both legally and with the respective regulator.I think EBOOKERS (Expedia Brand) should think of the bigger picture post-COVID. The constant approach to fustrate and delay customers legal entitlement will just lose considerable long-term business.

Ebookers service for me personally has been superb during Covid19, refunding a "non refundable" booking straight away. To me that is exceptional service to a loyal customer. I am very grateful. Even in the past I have found them to be amazing, upgrading us as a surprise on hotel arrival abroad in Berlin. Thank you Ebookers, a very happy customer.

Comfirmed a booking of a car, while the car rental company was closed. Spend a good 1.5 hour in the waiting line to talk to a person whom could barely talk English

Avoid as plague!!! Fraudulently advertise themselves on Topcashback.co.uk and Quidco.com, offering from 5 to 15% cashback! They NEVER pay people, saying that people use vouchers, whereas there were no vouchers used! Avoid avoid avoid!

10 months waiting for a refundThey did however email me with a stranger's refund details . When I enquired as to weather " Mr Stranger " was sent my details they hang up.

They have always been brilliant at managing my travel needs. I have had to change my reservations a few times in the past and eBookers have always managed to find some workable solution. Kudos to you guys!

Overpriced and lack of full disclosure We decided to do a staycation walking holiday and wanted nice hotels rather than apartments. One of the hotels we chose was the Kings Head Country Hotel even though it was more expensive than others in the area. I wanted to book an evening meal and tried to contact them the day before arriving but was difficult to get in hold of them, I called many times as well as emailing and finally received a call back at 9.30pm. The informed us they do not clean rooms every day, we had read their COVID policy before booking and those facts were not included. We were paying a lot for 2 nights stay in a hotel that was not cleaning the rooms every day, not what we would have booked if we had known and they were not willing to acknowledge the inaccurate advertising on their website or the Pre-arrival email they sent us before our stay that again did not mention the lack of cleaning. As they were not willing to refund the booking we did stay at the hotel, had to ask for a change of towels/toiletries ourselves and had to go up to our room to find the cleaner to provide them. The hotel is on a B road but used by HGVs which we could hear in our room, as well as the person who was snoring in the next room. The hotel had no atmosphere in the evenings, the only good part was the breakfast was fine. All in all, overpriced for what they provided.


6 months after my flight was cancelled I’m still waiting for a refund. Now they tell me the ticket is too old and I must go directly to the airline. When I go to the airline they tell me they can’t help me because I booked via ebookers! AVOID EBOOKERS AT ALL COSTS!! You will never get your money back if it’s cancelled and speaking to the call centre is like speaking to robots! If the question is not on the list they can’t answer it. WORST COMPANY EVER!!!

On the phone to ebookers for 1 hour 20 minutes trying to rebook a flight due to Covid lockdown in Switzerland. No joy. First 20 minutes had messages every now and then saying their staff would be with me shortly and then all messages stopped and the same three tunes trundled on. One of them being - 'time goes by so slowly and time can do so much'!! You are telling me. Finally gave up before my phone bill got bigger than the booking price. NEVER booking through them again. Will just have to lose my money.

Refunds - Itin: 7515158786545 - Case ID : [REQ:S-214026753]. Finnair cancelled the flight and I am entitled to a full refund. So ebookers also said. And that was it.How many emails I sent them, giving my bank account details-I lost count. They do not react to my mails, neither did they call me (as they promised) to settle the issue. As I see it-Finnair has refunded the money and ebookers has pocketed it. Thieves. Now when I read on this site that there are people, from which ebookers has stolen 1300 gbp..... I understand that I will not see my humble 220E refund. The fact that ebookers do exist and operate at all, proves that any criminal and thief can legally steal and get away with it. Sad that in the future many people will get their fingers burnt. As someone here said, in the future it is wise to book directly from the companies, not through agencies

Ebookers sent me a confusing email in April stating that I could get a credit for the flight due to cornavirus by simply clicking a button. What they failed to state is that by doing this it would deny me of a right to a refund according to their policies. When I requested a refund they told me to contact the airline. The airline passed me back to ebookers. Ebookers call centre simply read off a transcript and state that their policy is not to give refunds. They then use tactics such as putting the phone done, giving false numbers to get you off the phone. You are then left without a resolution. Absolutely poor service and a collective action needs to be taken against their approach with consumers in this difficult time. This is definitely something the CMA should investigate.

The customer service at Ebookers has been amazing, regular contact via email, quick online chat, they persevered and got all the hotels to agree to cancel with a full cash refund, and all the money back in my account before the holiday was meant to start

Booked a hotel in Sicily with them last year for end of May 2020. Hotel reopened before date of holiday but there were no flights so we couldn’t go. Ebookers said hotel was non refundable but offered us a voucher which we didn’t want. Hotel phoned us and said they had not been paid by Ebookers! Ebookers have now withdrawn offer of voucher, so we will get nothing. They have kept our money (paid in full at time of booking) so have profited handsomely from the situation. Will never use them again!
